NEW – MSC certified Atlantic Lobster

The Culimer sales team is pleased to announce the launch of Culimer’s ‘High Pressure Processed’ (HPP) MSC certified Atlantic Lobster, a relatively new arrival in the lobster processing industry with a very limited supply globally. By using pressure compression technology the meat within the lobster is easily extracted from the shell keeping the meat intact with virtually no damage.

Vacuum skin packaging, is a type of packaging used to seal a product over its entire surface on a shape-retaining lower web or a ready-made tray using a special skin film. Like a second skin it preserves shape, texture and product integrity for premium retail presentation.

Atlantic lobster

Latin name: Homarus Americanus

The American lobster (or Atlantic lobster) is a species of lobster found on the Atlantic coast of North America. It can reach a body length of 64 cm and a mass of over 20 kilograms. It thrives in cold, shallow waters with many places to hide from predators (e.g. rocks), typically at a depth of 4 – 50 mtrs.
