IbroMar changes name to Culimer
IbroMar B.V., supplier of frozen seafood, changes its name to Culimer B.V. Due to the increase of business of the IbroMar and Culimer offices IbroMar anticipates on the need of communicating one corporate brand name worldwide. This decision leads to a new Culimer company name for the Rotterdam (NL) and Ho Chi Minh City (VN) offices. The offices in Beijing (CN) and Dubai (U.A.E.) maintain their name. All the Culimer offices are part of Ibro Mar Holding B.V.
The frozen seafood supplier IbroMar B.V. has opened two Culimer offices in 2006 and 2007, in Beijing and Dubai, and extended its product range with products as new King Crab varieties, Smoked Tuna, Super Frozen Tuna and much more. Due to the increase of these activities the company experienced the need of communicating one corporate brand name worldwide, Culimer. “The name change to Culimer creates the opportunity to build on a stronger market position”, said Martin Brugman, president of Culimer B.V. and its mother company Ibro Mar Holding B.V. “Culimer better outlines its role in culinary consumption and has been a strong seafood brand name for many years”, he added.

The name change will lead to a new Culimer company name for the offices in The Netherlands and Vietnam. The offices in China and United Arab Emirates will maintain their name. All the Culimer offices will be part of Ibro Mar Holding B.V.
