The American lobster (or Atlantic lobster) is a species of lobster found on the Atlantic coast of North America. It can reach a body length of 64 cm and a mass of over 20 kilograms.
The tender and juicy meat is the preferred choice of top chefs globally. It allows chefs to control the cooking times and seasoning to deliver the best quality dishes to their customers without the added challenges associated with using live lobsters.
At Culimer we deliver High Pressure Processed (HPP) SUPERFROZEN raw lobster meat, a relatively new arrival in the lobster processing industry with a very limited supply globally. By using pressure compression technology the meat within the lobster is easily extracted from the shell keeping the meat intact with virtually no damage. After extraction, the raw lobster is frozen and stored at SUPERFROZEN-60°C for optimum 'sushi grade' quality and skinpacked for preservation
